To reach the Island of Elba you need to take the ferry from Piombino Marittima, a location easily reachable by car, train or bus, where in the summer the shipping companies Toremar, Moby and BlueNavy have comfortable ships or hydrofoils that make numerous multi-day trips to Rio Marina, Portoferraio and Cavo.

Rio Marina, where we are located, can be reached directly with the Toremar ferry from the port of Piombino, the journey lasts about 45 minutes.

Cavo, 10 minutes by car or bus from Rio Marina, can be reached from Piombino with the Moby ferry (the journey lasts 30 minutes) or with the Toremar hydrofoil, for passenger transport only (the journey lasts 20 minutes)

How to reach us

Portoferraio, 25 minutes by car from Rio Marina or 1 hour by bus, can be reached from Piombino with the Moby, Toremar or Bluenavy ferry, the journey lasts about 1.15 hours

Departures from Piombino approximately every 50 minutes with modern ferries.

If you want to leave your car in Piombino, there are guarded parking lots both outdoors and indoors, free and paid, inside the port area.
